The brief was simple: one roll-top pack, nothing checked, and a wardrobe that works on a bike, in a meeting and at a late dinner. Six pieces made the cut.
What came along
A Transit Shell, a stretch wool blazer, two merino crews, one pair of travel trousers and a poplin shirt. Everything in black, grey or Signal, so every piece matched every other piece.
What stayed home next time
The second crew. Merino aired overnight on a hotel chair was fresh by morning, every morning. Next trip: five pieces.
